Religious Education (RE) is a pivotal aspect of MACS 2030’s Inspired by Faith strategic theme. This recognises that formation in our Catholic faith is central to the purpose of our Catholic schools. Our current RE curriculum was last reviewed 14 years ago and so, as a part of supporting our schools with high quality resources and teaching practices into the next decade, a review of the Archdiocese of Melbourne’s RE Curriculum has been initiated.
As part of the review, a survey has been developed to gather the insights and perspectives of priests, principals, teaching staff and school parents across all Catholic schools in the Archdiocese. The insights gathered from the survey will provide an important input into the review process.
The survey is open until Tuesday 20 December 2022 and all principals are asked to complete the survey and to invite and encourage responses from their teaching staff and school parents. The Terms of Reference for the review can be accessed here.
